I have a similar problem in Dapper, but it is reversed: if I double-
click on a day in the applet-calendar, I get the PREVIOUS day in
evolution. Single click only show that day inside the applet.

wastebasket icon in my 'system tray' appears to be full, when Nautilus
indicates that files don't exist in that directory.

I can confirm that the item does not disappear from the original

I have just had this happen to me in Edgy. I just so happen to run my
system in leave a core dump behind mode and in desperation I killed
evolution with a SIGSEV, leaving a core dump 956M behind and around 200M
of free space left on the disk. Apport then started up and proceeded to
chew up the

Restarting X cures this problem. It's as if the recycle bin forgot to
check itself, at some point. Restarting X forces this check to occur.

On Mac (both ppc and intel), when you type the eject key, an eject popup

When running edgy testing, I've been getting odd behavior from GDM. The
system will seemingly boot fine, then when I should be seeing a ubuntu
branded GDM, i see the gnome flowers. When I try to log in after that, I

Right now I have a swap partition of 2 gbs, and 5% is used under kubuntu
running opera, kopete, amarok and gimp. (its not runing fast but its runing...
;)
Any other information that you need?

If I try to move an icon on the desktop, the default action is copy. If I press
shift on the keyboard the icon is moved correctly.

It would appear, after reinstallation that the problem was newly
installed USB hardware (an optical mouse) that was causing the failure
to boot, and nothing to do with the gparted.

Just got around to trying to reproduce this one again. With an uptodate
dapper, it seems harder to get than it used to be.
But I managed to get it, though only using ctrl-alt-backspace. (I've
seen it without that before)
A gnome session backtrace indeed looks quite suggestive - its stuck in a
1 - 100 of 123 matches
