Well by 3D Desktop I mean going to system - preference - Desktop
effects - enable desktop effects. This either changes the total no of
workspaces I have or it changes the way workspace switcher applet is
displayed.For example in the screenshot attached you can see that its
showing
reproduce the bug with debuging symbols.
