Pidgin and totem (not the firefox plugin version) are broken to my gutsy for

Spanish translation.

The draw_rounded_window method was being used to make a path for the
yellow background, this was unnecessary. I dropped it and flood filled
the background with yellow.

I get an Input/Output error whenever I try to burn a dvd, using K3B or the
Nautilus CD Burner.
I have the latest Gutsy updates as of this morning, 2007-Sep-01.
The machine burned DVD's without problems before I upgraded from Feisty

It looks like this updated version results in a serious loss in
functionality. Is there any way to backport the older deskbar up to
gutsy, or will that screw up dependencies? Why are we upgrading to
this version, anyway?

I also get the frozen black screen, most often in the exact situation
described in the original report, but sometimes also when a single user
tries to log out or switch accounts.
