I just tried doing a complete re-install of all the evolution modules
and it doesn't do anything. However, disabling compiz fixes the problem
in evolution. However, like I said previously, all the other
applications are running correctly under compiz (as was evolution until
today).

I'm not sure if it is actually crashing or not and haven't yet installed
those other packages you describe, but I recorded a short video that
trys to explain it abit better.
I loaded Pidgin because clicking in a Guifications pop-up is the only
way I've found to return back to the original desktop.
I tried it again and it works fine now, even though I'm logged in as the same
user I was before.
Maybe this weekend I'll try to play this game from the beginning and see if it
happens again, but I don't know if I'll have time to do it.

After I add an icon for "Network Servers" on my desktop, I dragged the
icon to a Panel. The icon that was displayed on the panel was the
default generic icon (looks like a square on a corkscrew). The launcher
on the Desktop does display the

I appear to be getting this bug when trying to start gnome 2.18 on
FreeBSD 6.2 ( actually PC-BSD 1.4 ). The two screens seem to get locked
up while a "looping situation" continually draws white bands across top
and bottom of the two screens, which then crash and disapear, re-
appearing after 30 sec
No, for a new user this works like a charm.
Any hints about how I can fix my configuration to make this work for
existing users?
