Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: nautilus
only 2 nautilus windows were open! i wanted to oepn a third one, and it
crashed!
ProblemType: Bug
Architecture: i386
Date: Sat Nov 17 23:06:01 2007
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 7.04
ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/nautilus
Package: nautilus 1:2.18.1-0ubuntu1
I get the same problem as Will Daniels here. The content of my global
/etc/asound.conf is:
pcm.pulse { type pulse }
ctl.pulse { type pulse }
pcm.!default { type pulse }
ctl.!default { type pulse }
Note that I get the same problem with both Ekiga (whatever is in Gutsy)
and with Skype (1.4 and 2.0
Is anything happening with getting the issue sorted out? When will this
serious Panel issues be fixed? I dislike having to enter the panel
properties and change it upon EVERY boot of Ubuntu. This appears to be
just a GUI thing, something that should NOT happen.
** Changed in: gnome-panel
I'm having the same problem. Evolution Data Server seems to be running:
$ ps ax | grep evolution-data-server
12696 ?Sl 0:00 /usr/lib/evolution/evolution-data-server-1.12
--oaf-activate-iid=OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_DataServer_CalFactory:1.2
--oaf-ior-fd=31

Address Book Search
Same problem here (using Polish locales, Ubuntu 7.10). This is very annoying.
I'm seriously considering switching to Fedora 8, because
it works fine there...

Why don't you just give it up?? I never use it. Don't like anything
about it. It's the worst email program I have ever used. The one I use
is Thunderbird and I like it very much.
