[Bug 863154] Re: Wacom Bamboo One tablet random coordinate malfunctions
Re #73: the bug, or at least the underlying problem is not GIMP- specific. While GIMP will react with drawing a straight line to the edge of the canvas, at least some Krita beta builds crashed due to out-of- range coordinates. Serial Wacom Intuos 2 here, so the report title and Affects is not accurate. Re: [Bug 886198] Re: Nautilus crashes when getting properties of a file on a DVD drive with no region code set
Sorry, but I fixed my system, so that I now can no longer reproduce the bug. Steven On Tue, 08 Nov 2011 19:40:39 +0100, Sebastien Bacher seb...@ubuntu.com wrote: Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, your crash report is either missing or challenging to deal with as a .crash file. Please follow these instructions to have apport report a new bug about your crash that can be dealt with by the automatic retracer. If you are running the Ubuntu Stable Release you might need to enable apport in /etc/default/apport and restart. Now open your file manager, navigate to your /var/crash directory and open the crash report you wish to submit. If this fails you will have to open a terminal and file your report with 'ubuntu-bug /var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash' where _my_crash_report.crash is the crash you would like to report. If you get an error that you aren't allowed to access this report you will have to file it with 'sudo ubuntu-bug /var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash'. I'm closing this bug report since the process outlined above will automatically open a new bug report which can then dealt with more efficiently. [Bug 267642] Re: copying a folder from a secure webdav server to disk results in a html file
As indicated in the GNOME bug and verified by me with an up-to-date lucid install: This does not only affect COPY but also MOVE. Whereas the situation for COPY is unfortunate, because the contents of the folder are not copied, for MOVE it results in a massive data loss, because not only are the original files not moved/renamed, but also they are deleted, leaving you with just a listing of them... This should therefore clearly be raised in priority and fixed in the LTS release. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gvfs in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/267642 Title: copying a folder from a secure webdav server to disk results in a html file To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/nautilus/+bug/267642/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 876839] Re: Proxy GUI in 11.10 does not configure socks proxy for HTTP traffic
Proxy settings on oneiric just don't work. I just don't understand how functionality and value was reduced from natty and all its ancestors, and the people are only finger pointing - this bug is similar to that and that bug was addressed by so and so... There is a button for applying proxies system wide. The button does not work most of the time. It doesn't ask for a sudo password most of the time. It does not modify /etc/environment. It does not create any proxy settings in /etc/apt/conf.d/ It looks like this will *never* be fixed. [Bug 839157] Re: Bluetooth applet (OBEX send/browse) does not work anymore
To add some info, with a 3.1.0 kernel, I have BT working on an old thinkpad with karmic and my 3 android phones. I can browse with obex no problems. With the same 3.1.0 kernel on my now upgraded oneiric laptop (where things used to work with lucid and maverick), I am able to pair with my phones, I have a custom app that's able to talk bluetooth once with my phone, but after that, I see: connect(4, {sa_family=AF_BLUETOOTH, sa_data=*\177\2037Z\31\0\0\0\0\0\0\0}, 10) = -1 ECONNREFUSED (Connection refused) And again, phone and laptop are paired, unpairing/repairing works but only helps my app working once, after which it fails (and it used to work just fine with older ubuntus, and still fine with karmic), and browsing with obex fails reliably (while it works with karmic too). browse files with bluetooth-applet still gives me: Failed to mount OBEX volume: Connection refused for my 3 devices that are otherwise paired fine. ** Also affects: gnome-bluetooth (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: gnome-bluetooth (Ubuntu) Status: New = Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-bluetooth in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/839157 Title: Bluetooth applet (OBEX send/browse) does not work anymore To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bluez/+bug/839157/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 892566] Re: when i entered a dvd than two icon appear
For me those 2 icons don't perform the same action (and they don't look exactly the same either). Maybe merging them might make some sense, but requires taking into account the user's settings for this type of device/medium (maybe providing an option to open the dialog from the launcher icon's right- click menu so that those who disabled it can still access it?). So maybe when showing this dialog is the default new medium action set by the user, it could also show this dialog when clicking the device icon in the launcher? Or maybe it should only focus that dialog window when it's already there? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/892566 Title: when i entered a dvd than two icon appear To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/892566/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

Re: [Bug 889152] Re: Natty is making my mouse act extremely erratic wh en I try to copy and paste it eats the info where I am trying to paste at
This OS is very buggy, it will not let me log in, I have to enter as a guest. I realize that you have alot of people to deal with, so I will probably spend my time trying to recover my files from the partitions that were destroyed. Linux is okay, but it seems to be glitchy, if I did not know better, I would say that it attacked everything that I had done with microsoft, it destroyed my Windows 7 installation, and proceeded to wipe out my storage [300 GB] and my external drive [500 GB], pw -- Original Message -- From: Jamie Strandboge ja...@ubuntu.com To: thy...@juno.com Subject: [Bug 889152] Re: Natty is making my mouse act extremely erratic when I try to copy and paste it eats the info where I am trying to paste at Date: Fri, 18 Nov 2011 22:40:34 - ** Visibility changed to: Public ** This bug is no longer flagged as a security vulnerability ** Visibility changed to: Public ** This bug is no longer flagged as a security vulnerability -- You received this bug notification because you are subscribed to the bug report. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/889152 Title: Natty is making my mouse act extremely erratic when I try to copy and paste it eats the info where I am trying to paste at Status in “gnome-disk-utility” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: when I highlight an area, and copy it, when I try to put it in some other spot [edit] it will eat up info where I am trying to place it. same problem here. In addition, there is one more problem. I'm using a laptop where Ubuntu is running and another monitor connected to my laptop.
