Sorry. My previous message was about the precise package, which doesn't yet include the fix, but that was not what the automated message was asking. I suspect Alec made the same mistake. [Bug 1124297] [NEW] Mouse and touch input devices can't be configured seperately
Public bug reported: 1) Ubuntu 12.10 2) gnome-control-center 3.6.3-0ubuntu11~ubuntu12.10.1 3) I want all build in/connected cursor moving devices (touchpad, mouse, external touchpads etc.) to be configured seperately like it's possible with gpointing-device-settings. The before mentioned package does't work propperly with Ubuntu anymore (changes aren't persistent #489830) and isn't updated anymore so it would be nice to have these features directly in the control center. Please add an option to configure all input mouses/touchpads/etc. seperately. I'm not sure about design guidelines but this could be sorted by tabs for every device that's connected. Also settings for every device should be saved somewhere so when you connect an external device the next time the settings should be restored. 4) On my Lenovo laptop I have a Lenovo trackpad and a touchpad, and I often use an external mouse or an Apple Magic Trackpad. At the moment in Ubuntu it's not possible to configure them all seperately considering the different natures of the mentioned input devices. ** Affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1124297 Title: Mouse and touch input devices can't be configured seperately To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/1124297/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1124408] [NEW] wav file garbled in totem, plays fine in gst-launch and mplayer
Public bug reported: I tried to pay a .wav file in totem. The audio is garbled in totem but plays back fine in mplayer or when using gst-launch from the command line. This is a problem because Thunderbird uses Totem as the default handler for .wav audio, so .wav attachments to mails will be opened in Totem. To reproduce: 1) Open the attached .wav file in Movie Player (totem) Expected results: The audio file plays back with no errors Actual results: The audio is garbled during playback The file plays fine through gst-launch: ~$ gst-launch-0.10 playbin uri=file:///path/to/msg0001.WAV Mplayer also plays it without garbling the audio. Not all .wav files are affected. For example the files in /usr/share/sound/alsa/ work fine in totem. The audio was recorded from a voicemail box on an asterisk phone system.
