[Bug 781937] Re: Missing start menu entry

2013-08-04 Thread Julien Lavergne
I'm not sure it's the role of LXDE devs to validate every applications.
If gnome-terminal authors or maintainers set OnlyShowIn=GNOME, I
understand it as It's only work well under GNOME environment. If they
consider now that it can work on LXDE without problem, they should add
the LXDE in the list of the OnlyShowIn themselves. Lubuntu Devs are not
against adding it, but we didn't test gnome-terminal enough under LXDE
to validate its good behavior.

Marking this as invalid then. If I'm needing gnome-terminal again I will

[Bug 1208121] [NEW] Nautilus saves files under wrong name

2013-08-04 Thread Wolf Rogner
Public bug reported:

Nautilus saves file under wrong name

During a rename process, if you copy a file into a directory where a
file name is still under renaming, the newly copied file gets the name
of the renamed file and the to-be renamed file stays the same

How to verify:

in a directory with one file test.txt
rename test.txt to test2.txt but DO not confirm (by clicking somewhere else or
hit Enter)

copy file something.txt into this directory (from a separate window or
from a browser)

you see 2 files in the directory

test.txt
test2.txt (which is something.txt you copied into the directory)

It should be

test2.txt (which was test.txt originally)
something.txt

Not critical if you know it but serious if you want to find the files
later

[Bug 1208174] [NEW] viewport lost when switching to dependency tree

2013-08-04 Thread Karl-Philipp Richter
Public bug reported:

Hi together,
If you select a process and then turn on the displaying of dependencies the
viewport of the list (which now become a tree) is lost and you have to scroll
to your process again. It would be nice if the tree would scroll to the process
itself and make the selected process visible. If this is not intended, this
feature should be available, but turned off by default and available in
settings.

Greetings,
Kalle

[Bug 1081885] Re: battery state incorrect on 12.10 for HP folio 13-1020us

2013-08-04 Thread Christopher M. Penalver
Alan Westhagen, could you please confirm this issue exists with the
latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ . If the issue remains,
could you please run the following command in the development release
from a Terminal (Applications-Accessories-Terminal), as it will
automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this
report:

apport-collect -p linux replace-with-bug-number

Also, could you please test the latest upstream kernel available following
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds ? It will allow additional
upstream developers to examine the issue. Please do not test the daily folder,
but the one all the way at the bottom. Once you've tested the upstream kernel,
please comment on which kernel version specifically you tested. If this bug is
fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following tags:
kernel-fixed-upstream
kernel-fixed-upstream-VERSION-NUMBER

where VERSION-NUMBER is the version number of the kernel you tested. For
example:
kernel-fixed-upstream-v3.11-rc3

This can be done by clicking on the yellow circle with a black pencil icon next
to the word Tags located at the bottom of the bug description. As well, please
remove the tag:
needs-upstream-testing

If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the following tags:
kernel-bug-exists-upstream
kernel-bug-exists-upstream-VERSION-NUMBER

As well, please remove the tag:
needs-upstream-testing

If you are unable to test the mainline kernel, please comment as to why
specifically you were unable to test it and add the following tags:
kernel-unable-to-test-upstream
kernel-unable-to-test-upstream-VERSION-NUMBER

Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug's
Status as Confirmed. Please let us know your results. Thank you for your
understanding.
