[Bug 1889998] Re: Settings > Power suggests wifi "can" be turned off not "will" be turned off
Oh, that's slightly disappointing. Feel free to close this then. My 2-cent suggestion will be to replace those buttons completely with just a caption directing the user to other parts of the control panel. It's a bit confusing to have this button here given a more prominent section for enabling/disabling wifi and bluetooth already exists in the panel (and outside, in the indicator). If I want to file a feature request to add the feature I was looking for, should I file a separate issue? The feature being to introduce a way to disable automatically disconnecting the wifi when laptop is idle. I'll still need to figure out if this requires support from NetworkManager, or if it already exposes an interface. I'll leave this link here for anyone who wants to investigate further: https://gist.github.com/jcberthon/ea8cfe278998968ba7c5a95344bc8b55 FWIW, the feature seems to have a modest demand given 56 stars on the linked github gist. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1889998 Title: Settings > Power suggests wifi "can" be turned off not "will" be turned off To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/1889998/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1890001] [NEW] Random stuttering while in game
You have been subscribed to a public bug: Updated kernel to 5.7.12 and updated nvidia driver to 450 yesterday but only experiencing this today. Random stuttering while playing minecraft, no clue what's causing it but I checked system monitor and it shows random spikes of a cpu thread to 100% and some spikes staying at 100% for a prolonged period. It may be related to me updating my video driver that is not recommended so I will see if switching down will resolve the issue. I never had this issue on driver 440. [Bug 1889686] Re: [focal] [nvidia] Patch causes small text: x11-Add-support-for-fractional-scaling-using-Randr.patch
I see now. It's hard to judge by screenshots because the shrinkage is not dramatic.
