[Bug 1993308] Re: Update gnome-calendar to 43.1
Hello Jeremy, or anyone else affected, Accepted gnome-calendar into kinetic-proposed. The package will build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome- calendar/43.1-0ubuntu1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository. Please help us by testing this new package. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation on how to enable and use -proposed. Your feedback will aid us getting this update out to other Ubuntu users. If this package fixes the bug for you, please add a comment to this bug, mentioning the version of the package you tested, what testing has been performed on the package and change the tag from verification-needed- kinetic to verification-done-kinetic. If it does not fix the bug for you, please add a comment stating that, and change the tag to verification-failed-kinetic. In either case, without details of your testing we will not be able to proceed. Further information regarding the verification process can be found at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/PerformingSRUVerification . Thank you in advance for helping! N.B. The updated package will be released to -updates after the bug(s) fixed by this package have been verified and the package has been in -proposed for a minimum of 7 days. ** Changed in: gnome-calendar (Ubuntu Kinetic) Status: In Progress => Fix Committed ** Tags added: verification-needed verification-needed-kinetic -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-calendar in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1993308 Title: Update gnome-calendar to 43.1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-calendar/+bug/1993308/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1993907] Re: nautilus freezes randomly
Resetting Tracker3 (the file indexing daemon) seems to have done the trick for me. [Bug 1993907] Re: nautilus freezes randomly
I can confirm this bug. In my case Nautilus automatically freezes if I use the search in Nautilus or if I search for files in overview. I haven’t been able to catch the output or why it freezes. I have upgraded from 22.04 and previously from 21.10. [Bug 1994141] [NEW] incompatible versions of network-manager-openvpn and openvpn delivered in ubuntu22.10
Public bug reported: After installing network-manager-openvpn(1.10.0-1ubuntu2), openvpn(2.6.0~git20220818-1ubuntu1) is installed as a dependency. Mentioned NM plugin uses openvpn option `--cipher` instead of `--data- ciphers`. With openvpn2.6.0+ this breaks existing setups - connection never establishes and fails with message like: ``` DEPRECATED OPTION: --cipher set to 'AES-256-CBC' but missing in --data-ciphers (AES-256-GCM:AES-128-GCM:CHACHA20-POLY1305). OpenVPN ignores --cipher for cipher negotiations. ``` and ``` Connection reset, restarting [0] ``` reproducer: configure openVPN client against openVPN server with cipher set to 'AES-256-CBC'. workaround: manually install openvpn 2.5.x from sources and mask distribution-provided openvpn 2.6.x. proposed solution: deliver compatible combination of network-manager-openvpn and openvpn. system info: Description:Ubuntu 22.10 Release:22.10 ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: network-manager-openvpn (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: openvpn (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: network-manager-openvpn (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: openvpn (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to network-manager-openvpn in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1994141 Title: incompatible versions of network-manager-openvpn and openvpn delivered in ubuntu22.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1994141/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
