not know how it is in Gnome, but in KDE there is the possibility to
associate with more then one filetype and sort by priority. I think it
is a reasonable assumption that most extensions are used in Firefox, so

I agree with monkeybrain2012. The question that must then be raised is
how this breakage got into an Ubuntu software update for the masses
almost 2 months after it was known that a kernel change had broken gdm3
login, and after commits for the underlying issues had been created in
debian.

depressingly long list of Ubuntu updates that have ed up my system.
You really *need* better testing of updates. If you can't improve the

I was able to recognize and burn onto blank CDs, then I clicked "no
action" in the prompt window after inserting another blank CD, after
which that CD ceased to be recognized, and I haven't been able to
recognize one since.

For me this is reproducible every time I have tried. It is a bit
annoying. It is like the calculator removes the trailing 0's in hex mode..
Using the scientific calculator mode, I entered 512000 in decimal, then
switched the result to Hex. I got 7D, instead of the correct result
