So I tested.
After I got the 'will hibernate in a bit unless you plug in' message, I
suspended. Then plugged in power, and resumed. The laptop went on its
merry way, and did not give me any funny stuff. So that's good. This
means the upstream bug is fixed.

machine. GDM's locale.conf doesn't use eo_XX and langpack-locales still

This is not a pulseaudio bug. The underlying issue is that gnome-
session does not run the shutdown scripts in /usr/share/gnome/shutdown.
gnome-session-canberra puts a script in that directory that plays the

However, those options don't do what they sound like because of ntpdate.
Nevermind. After discussing how the automatically set time from
Internet option works, we don't quite want to replicate time-admin's
feature. See bug 734894. But this FFe can be considered again once
that is fixed.

and backported for Ubuntu 11.04). Chrome needs to install a .desktop

This is an intentional change made in GNOME/glib. They no longer use
gconf, but record your personal preferences in
~/.local/share/applications/mimeapps.list.
gnome-open just asks glib what to launch now.

allow custom entries at all. Assuming that's still the case, is there
