coming with it. Thus, it is normal that you cannot edit photos since you
have no image processing app. If you need one, just manually install

icon OO.o uses for document windows is the same as that which is used in
the toolbar for 'New Text/Chart/Base/Draw': in both place, it is blurry.
This icon is different from that of each OO.O app in the themes.

Pedro: AFAIK the bug on GNOME's bugzilla is not the same at all. The
present report deals with a bug that appeared with the last SRU in
Intrepid (evolution 2.24.1.1-0ubuntu1 to 2.24.2-0ubuntu1), while the
remote one is from 2004 and is in calendar. At least this is how it
appeared for me. See [1]
I've just checked downgrading to 2.24.1-0ubuntu2 (original version in
Intrepid), and I can confirm it solved this bug. Going back to
2.24.2-0ubuntu1 brought the problem again. Since the new version is
still in intrepid-proposed, I suggest it shouldn't enter -updates before
this is fixed.

Sebastien Bacher: Upstream identified the patch that broke things, it
was about password storage. A new version of the patch has already been
committed (see [1]), so Ubuntu can do the same ASAP instead of
committing the wrong patch.

At least there's an easy part to fix here: you shouldn't have to run
/usr/share/doc/libdvdread3/install-css.sh. Instead, it should be run

Maybe the new resindvd plugin in GStreamer will fix menus bug before the
description is updated... :-)

Do you have gstreamer-plugins-bad installed? DVD playback is undergoing
important changes in Intrepid and Jaunty because of the new resindvd
plugin for GStreamer. See bug 260765 about that. If this is related, we
can close this bug to be clearer (one task for one problem is better).

It could be nice to check if this is still present in Intrepid. DVD
playback is quite problematic, I don't really hope anybody will fix that
if it's only in Hardy (sorry...).

issues (there are many), and will not lead to any fix by developers.
Please continue to report bugs about DVD playback, but separately. We
need precise informations and feedback to track bugs. And there are
already several reports
[Manual error] And great work is going on about that, and it's likely
that things will be much improved in Jaunty!

Could not read from resource error when playing
Michael: I definitely agree with a. But precisely because there's work
to get out of this mess, I'd like to separate issues so that we can sort
out the ones which correspond to Intrepid, where the DVD playback system
is completely different in Totem.
