Pedro,
As I mentioned in item 4 of my report, when I type Alt-PrtScrn in my
current Maverick installation, nothing happens. In Lucid, this is how I have

Today, I got an update to gnome-games 1.2.31.4, but the problem

Pedro,
Ok, I got advice on Ubuntu Forums to use program scrot to get a screenshot
in Maverick. It works, but unfortunately, when I go to the terminal screen
to run scrot, gnomines goes into Pause mode, so that is the screen that the
shot is made of. It will not help to solve the problem.
Tim
Ok, I figured out how to delay scrot, then press the Resume button on
gnomines to get a good screen shot of the problem. Sorry for all the
fumbling around.
Thanks,
Tim

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gcalctool
Hi,
See screenshot.
This is probably GNOME related, as a few weird encoding issues have
appeared in a few places since I've upgraded to Ubuntu 9.10.
ProblemType: Bug
Architecture: i386

I had the same problem with the release version! fortunatly setting the
custom settings in gstreamer-properties fixed it for me - It is these
silly problems that give Linux such a bad name. For most people such a
problem is a complete show stopper and results in Windows being re
installed.

Reopening. Still seeing this after upgrading to Karmic.
I actually reinstalled (keeping my home-dir) and moved ~/.gconf out of
the way, still seeing this behaviour. If I missed a config folder, where
this could be hiding, please let me know.
** Changed in: evolution (Ubuntu)
Status: Fix
Will do, I seem to have missed it when you wrote it the first time,
sorry about that.
