[Bug 339686] Re: Insufficient touchpad configuration tool
So, it appears there is now such a configuration tool since Ubuntu 9.10. Install the gpointing-device-settings. I tested this in several different systems and in Ubuntu 10.04 and 10.10. [Bug 664605] [NEW] Missing Delete messages from server when deleted locally option for POP3
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution There doesn't seem to be an option to have Delete actions on POP3-downloaded email sync'ed the remote mail server. This leads to inconsistency for people using such POP3 accounts from a Webmail interface. They delete email locally and expect the webmail server to match that but Evolution doesn't offer such an option. [Bug 359563] Re: Feature request: Delete mail from pop-server after it is deleted form inbox/trash
Adding comments from the duplicate bug: This is an optional feature that is not present in all mail clients. [Bug 654761] [NEW] Battery life estimation always show estimating... in battery (indicator applet)
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager On a Dell Mini 9 with latest Maverick (i386 RC with updates), the battery indicator always shows estimating instead of remaining time. [Bug 332355] Re: Empathy doesn't alert to new email messages
I am raising this to medium, as per https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Importance: * A bug that has a moderate impact on a core application. My rationale is that Empathy has replaced Pidgin as the core IM application in Ubuntu, and as such there still is an expectation that it should have the same or better/more features. In some cases like this one it's not and it's important functionality present across several services (I checked MSN, GTalk, Yahoo). It's also functionality present in other IM clients in their respective OS, which maintains the expectation even for new Ubuntu users. I took a brief look to the upstream bug and it's blocked by two other bugs, including another spec and undrafting the original spec. If you look at the spec for this it's been worked on for quite some time now so it's not something that has been ignored, or dismissed. I'll see if I can get more information on how to best help upstream with this. -- Empathy doesn't alert to new email messages https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/332355 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to empathy in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 294182] Re: GNOME's Help Slow to Load
This won't likely make it into Ubuntu anytime before April 2011. Feature freeze for Maverick is *tomorrow* and by reading the upstream bug report you can see the progress so far. [Bug 313353] Re: Tree view freezes after expanding and collapsing
Ubuntu 8.10 is EOL now and 9.04 will be in a few months. I think it's reasonable to say this won't get fixed for 9.04 now so I will mark it as wontfix - I'd suggest 8.10 or 9.04 users upgrade to 9.10 or 10.04 LTS to address this or use the workaround mentioned earlier. ** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu) Status: Triaged = Won't Fix -- Tree view freezes after expanding and collapsing https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/313353 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
