Hi,
to be honest I'm not sure why this has untranslated strings.
Upstream is complete, and this one has been correctly imported in Launchpad:
https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evince
and has no untranslated strings.

Hi,
just to add a comment about this issue: some years ago we experienced a
similar problem with the Italian translation of xchat-gnome, and the
problem was really related to the translation. If I'm not wrong, there
could be problems with the strings in xchat-gnome that look like this

Pedro, did you look at the upstream translation?
Upstream the string is there, but not in Launchpad. If I take the evince.mo
file and unformat it, the string is not in there.
Is it possible that we have a not updated pot file in Launchpad?

@David:
Last time I talked with Shaun about this (when the problem was
reported, so almost a while back), looked like the problem was only in
Ubuntu.
We should probably test with another distribution and see if the
problem occurs there too (I can probably test it with Fedora).

Applications documentation is not translatable via Launchpad. This bug
should be forwarded upstream.
Keep in mind that f-spot documentation is not translated at all
upstream, so this rather then being a bug is a wishlist.
I'm marking it as invalid since there is no translation at all upstream.

Sorry, I don't understand what this means: that option should come
from upstream (as Guillaume said). Does Ubuntu overwrite it in some
way?
