secured WiFi networks, not open ones. It seemed plausible that they are
related, as the password for the WiFi network needs to be retrieved
somewhere (the keyring, I assumed). But I will report a different bug

I am having the same problem after upgrading from 23.10 on a Thinkpad
T14 AMD Gen 2. Another problem I am having is that WiFi is not

uninstalled long ago (even before upgrading to 20.04) where marked as
active by gsettings. Pop-shell and cast-to-tv for example. I had to

Scrolling in nautilus using the touchpad of my laptop (Dell XPS 13) is
stuttery, sometimes very stuttery. Compared to scrolling in gnome-
settings for example where the scrolling effect is very smooth, the
difference is night and day.

Another thing I noticed. I installed Ubuntu 20.04 on another laptop,
also with Intel iGPU, but lower resolution screen (1366x768) and the
animations _seem_ smoother. Also this is a laptop with less software
installed, so overall there are less icons to animate too.

I think I have found I way to reproduce the crash of gnome-shell, at
least in my PC. Almost always opening up Spotify and double-clicking on
a playlist so it shuffle-plays results in gnome-shell crashing and
recovering a couple of seconds later.

I have a old crash report in var/crash. I think it is from before the
update from 3.25.91 to 3.26.0, I attach it here.

Just to be clear: the previous is an old (from last wednesday) crash that
happened when trying to enter the wayland session. In that time, after I logged
on xorg, a crash report appeared.
Since then, in all my last tries, wayland session login failed silently,

I found the issue. It was mainly me, but i think something is still missing.
As I was updating from early ubuntu GNOME, the ubuntu-desktop metapackage
wasn't installed, causing the ubuntu session to silently fail.
I think that ubuntu-session should depend on ubuntu-desktop.
