I still have this issue in Xubuntu 12.04 LTS with Matlab R2009a in the xfce4-panel. The main matlab window and the editor window. I have to use Alt+TAB shortcut to access de window because it dissapears from XFCE Panel. Any ideas? Public bug reported: When copying a file, like a movie or something, nautilus shows the progress bar immediately almost complete and 0 secs of remaining time... and stays like that for the time that actually takes to copy the file in a pendrive, like a minute and also showing 42MB/sec copying speed that is out of the pendrive limits, that pendrive copy at 4.3MB/s, not 40MB/s. A screenshot of the bug, in the mail you see that some text appears to be selected, in fact the only thing i did was clicking on the ACTIVATE button inside this example email after clicking in activate button, no browser is launched but the above text is selected somehow. I just wanted to give a more clear picture of the bug. Another fact: The browser with the link is not launched the first click, BUT making a double click it launches the browser. This is affecting all HTML messages, not plain text links. Public bug reported: Start nautilus and start browsing some files. The you may press, say the E key in the keyboard for nautilus go and select the first E file in the list. Then press another letter, and start writing a word, like EXPLORE because yo know there is a file called explorer.txt that you want to find. Now if you miss type a letter you cannot delete or correct using the BACKSPACE key because it will go back in folder level and put you in the previous level. If you want to correct the mistake and find your file, you must double click somewhere and start to write again. This nautilus feature is very useful and it is not working. The thing is that when clicking in the button to see attachment this changes the arrow from side, to down and no image is displayed. Even clicking several times it does not work, but waiting like for 30 secs and then clicking again, it displays the image. I think that HP 6735s AMD Turion X2 4GB RAM should not delay 30 secs in displaying 100kb jpg image in mail as attachment... any ideas? i discovered that switching to metacity, the calendar position corrects back. the issue appears to be just under compiz. Public bug reported: Binary package hint: empathy See the screenshot, when GSM modem disconnects, empathy keeps showing online contacts and i even can start chating with someone, this fooled me few times that i did not realized that i was offline and i was chating and keep chating and the person did not reply... i further realize that i was disconnected but empathy did not aware at that point. i recently installed a Lucid i386 and the problem of icon misaligned persist, so i think that this answer your question Pedro. As well as in the recieved messages or outgoing ones. In the outgoing, the attachments are shown at the bottom of the message, and incoming ones, are displayed in the (+) at the top of it. This is a recent screenshot, this bug is not been solved yet. I have news, as a test action, i changed the font from Sawasdee to Serif and all went all right for a while and then my wife called me and showed me this screenshot. So i changed the window manager from compiz to metacity. But in this case you can see the corruption all over the screen fonts and also when i took a screenshot, the screenshot window showed corruption too. After i hit metacity --replace all went back to normallity. The font used to display messages is Sawasdee 11 that is the font that my wife likes most.
