I was trying to burn a data disk, more specifically an Ubuntu ISO.
I tried several methods, from right-clicking the ISO and choosing burn
to disc to running nautilus-cd-burner --source-iso=hardy-
desktop-i386.iso from the terminal.
Sebastien told me he'd make another snapshot once the soft freeze is

IIRC CPU scaling helps to save the battery life on the laptop cases,

I am seeing 100% cpu usage as well, but it does not lag *as much* as
described in bug #41798. And my computer is basically the same as that
guy's (2.4ghz cpu, nvidia graphics card).
I mean, I see it is not 110%, perfectly fluid, but in the GIMP the
stroke does follow my cursor pretty closely.
It's fixed in Hardy Alpha 6 (live cd).

I'm using Hardy Alpha 6 (live cd) and I can still reproduce this bug with
firefox and evolution.
I don't know about amarok, thunderbird and wow.

Enabling Desktop Effects, some part of firefox, thunderbird and evolution
windows are black for few seconds when I deminimize them.
What does this mean. Am I supposed to do this to fix the bug? If so,
how?
