Work-around confirmed: After adding these two lines in my ~/.bashrc
# For Ubuntu 12.04 backward compatibility.
export CC=gcc-4.7
export CXX=g++-4.7
Then I can build our products with the correct glibc version for Ubuntu
12.04, while gcc-5.3 is used during the updates and via sudo.

Fixed in Firefox 47. Granted, border margins and paddings are still not
ideal, but at least all elements have proper borders again to allow them
to be noticed and usable.

Computer speakers are not being recognized in sound settings. As long
as nothing else is plugged in, I still get sound through the speakers,
but they are not shown under "Output" in sound settings. In fact,
nothing is shown under Output, but the speakers will play sound just
Here is my console output when I installed the upstream Linux kernel
header and image .deb files, on Ubuntu 14.04.4.
I will still be rebooting my system after this to see if the install
worked. Just thought I'd provide this in case it helps.

I'm experiencing the same issue than Anupam's one.
and also for Calendar notifications, and for me
it is since OTA-11.
After one day less or more there is no sound notifications.
I cannot know what is the reason.

Accepted network-manager-applet into xenial-proposed. The package will
build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source
/network-manager-applet/1.2.0-0ubuntu0.16.04.3 in a few hours, and then
