Please delete this bug report.
I fixed the issue by running chkdsk on the Windows side. It found errors
that were fixed and the NTFS partition can now be mounted and read by
Ubuntu. I still don't understand why Ubuntu 23.04 could mount and read
the partition with the errors present but the issue

I upgraded to 23.10. Since then I cannot access the NTFS partition on
this dual boot (with Windows 10) PC. Also an external USB drive
formatted in NTFS cannot be mounted. Everything works fine on 23.04.

I've taken the easy way out and installed the snap version. All working
correctly now.

I have a folder entitled Mothers' Union. I use Deja-Dup to backup it up
(along with many other folders) on Ubuntu 20.10. When I open Deja-Dup
and click on the restore option and pick a back-up date it shows all the
folders in the backup except this one (Mothers' Union). If I
