printer drivers saying there is no detected system tray and it's unable
to start (attached).

Just to add I found that on the unscaled screens the text and general
look was a little fuzzy. I assume this is something to do with the
scaling going on. Also if fractional scaling is turned off I cannot set
the 4k screen to 200% on its own as all screens then get set to 200%.

I set fractional scaling to 1.50 on screen 2 (Others 100%)
For the session it works perfectly fine, But after logging out and

I believed I narrowed down the issue to how gnome-shell uses Xorg.
As said before GDM did not have any issues, and (i may be seriously
wrong here) GDM uses Wayland by default. When I launch the Ubuntu
desktop with Wayland, the graphical issue went away and is running
smoothly.
So I narrowed down
No problem!
When I change wallpapers the issue appears goes away but on reboot or
switching back the issue persists. it appears to not affect other
applications such as Firefox even when in full screen.

dbusmenu itself (https://bugs.launchpad.net/libdbusmenu) doesn't seem to

Sorry I realized this bug is misleading with the version listed, the bug
is for version: 4.15.0-44-generic. I am booted into 43 to fix the
problem.

I experience bad performance with accelerated compositing mode on using
WebkitGTK+ 2.22.5 on Fedora 29 with Intel Iris 540 (Skylake mobile)
graphics. Turning it off makes pretty much everything faster, but
particularly Facebook, which is nearly unusable with accelerated
compositing on.
