I cannot change the default-sample-rate without compiling the kernel, right?
No /etc/ config for that, right?

It looks like the second option did the trick:
Turning off
Funtoo Linux 3.6.0 here.
I found the
load-module module-udev-detect tsched=0
setting somewhere in the ArchLinux wiki:

So i added tsched=0, did not help, made it even worse.
Then I additionally changed
** Summary changed:
- crippled sound after installing kernel 3.6rc6
+ crippled sound after installing kernel 3.6

Oh by the way: Yes, my laptop supports a docking station - I have seen
this a a question above. Not sure if i have tested with attached to the
docking station for the first tests, but recent tests were made without
the docking station.
