There is a workaround for me and that is to import the photos again in shotwell. There is an option to get rid of all capitals in the filenames. Seems to me that some developer at Shotwell had a comparable problem and made a solution for it. -- You received this bug notification because you are

Thanks for filing this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce this issue when using Ubuntu 12.10, which has nautilus 1:3.5.90.really.3.4.2-0ubuntu4.1 installed. Please provide the output of: dpkg -l | grep nautilus and what version of Ubuntu you are using. **
