Well - ok - however one man's design decision can be another man's bug.
I agree with the sentitment that there can be too many icons, however to
remove all of them, especially with respect to the ability to use
Nautilus-Actions to add apps to the Context menu, this is a poor
decision.

Firefox, Chrome and Thunderbird seem to be ok with icons on their
context menus
oh? I just tried firefox 11 on win32 and Ubuntu and they don't use icons
in their context menu, in fact the only place they use some (if you
don't install addons) is for bookmarks

Well I use Firefox 11 on Ubuntu 11.10 and Chrome on ubuntu 11.10 and
there are icons.
It's true that on 12.04 they are missing.
And great there is an options to turn them back on - could have saved a
few tons of carbon with that info - so it is not really invalid at all -
its an option - thanks

Thank you for your bug report, icons for most components got turned off
like 2 years ago, they are only there in menu for objects like
applications or directories, not for actions etc

concerned - can you please point me in the direction of who made this
decision and why?
