Yes it happens in Chromium as well. Weebly site loads something as a
Loading message and percentage complete message comes up.
The site worked perfectly until I installed some updates a few days ago.
The site works fine in Internet Explorer and Windows 7 on another machine.
If you were running Firefox with sudo, you'll run into issues. Please run:
chown -R MYUSER:MYUSER ~/.mozilla
where MYUSER is your system user name. Then try running Firefox normally
(firefox).

this bug happend to me after dropbox tried to restart nautilus. So it
may be something in the shutdown routine of nautilus?

One way to isolate this better would be if someone able to reproduce
this would test downgrading to the earlier compiz and verify the bug
goes away then.
I want to help you whit this but how do i downgrade compiz? can't see a older
package on synaptic.

something you still want to use in 2012.
The proper way to get media key events is to listen for evdev events or
for X11 key XEvents (if you have an X11 program).
