But i think this bug will never be resolved in unity 2d, i heard that
canonical will discontinue unity2d in future versions of ubuntu. Anybody

Still no way to set exceptions to proxy settings in the network applet
in 12.04.
I would also add that with the previous network settings GUI, we had the
possibility to create "profiles" for proxy settings. It was quite useful when
you worked regularly at different locations, each with different
Sam problem with me as point #5. I have very limited options and
'analogue stereo output' is not on the list, only 'analogue stereo
duplex'.
The hardware tab which has now gone (!!) would have been very useful to
me.

I run ubuntu 10.04.2. Firefox 4 and now Firefox 5 play .asx files with
the Totem plugin but only in Private Browsing Mode or when i have
history disabled! I also have Firefox 3.6.18 installed and works like a
charm!!

Just to add some info: I installed two machines in parallel (work and
home), both with Ubuntu 12.04, one 32bit and one 64bit. I installed
mostly the same packages (just restoring my default list). This bug only
occurs on the 64bit machine.

nautilus "unusable", why would you need a "reload" when the view refresh
when something change, you have access to your user dir on the left
panel locations and "up" is accessible from the menus and keyboard

I'm observing the exact same behaviour as described in comment #8. I'm
also runing 12.04. Killing g-s-d fixes the numlock issue but seems to
cause X to take a lot more CPU than before.

I'm having the same problem. The command 'setxkbmap de' temporarily
solves the problem but after rebooting the system the layout is gone
again. The file /etc/default/keyboard seems to be ok. I just have one
keyboard layout configured selected in the UI which is 'German'.

When I do not know what package to report a bug to, I always report to
gedit, then select the I don't know option for package.
Please correct that, this bug has nothing to do with gedit.
The printed message occurs with all other verbose messages during
shutdown.

Can we just store the data structures/objects used for each of the undo
options into a separate file alongwith the base image and then give the
user an option of loading this prior to loading the saved final version

Just my opinion: The 'up' button is one single-click and very
convenient, for me more convenient than 'previous' and 'next'. I think
it would be much better if the user could configure/decide which buttons
are
