@Alberto, prime-offload needs to be run as root, or logging won't work.
Anyway I have a patch ready for gdm.
for the stop script, its seems to me like it could just be run by
upstart, see above patch. Will that work?

When logging in, the login rectangle doesn't disappear like it should.
4) Xorg starts
Desktop appears but the outline of the login-rectangle is still there.

The latest update disabled window spreading and when triggered crashes
the desktop. Everything freezes and windows cannot be switched. The only
way to close an application is to shut down.
