login. The only real error message seems to be one second after login in
the 'ath11k' kernel driver although that may not be the main issue and
doesn't explain why only Wayland is affected.

Maybe switching from wayland to xorg caused the problem.
That menu was only present on the first login screen, so I tried moving
back to Wayland. The double login screen remained and I had the old
issues again with DOSBOX and Conky :(

installation, there are drives on the dock for the zfs bpool and rpool
(and in my case also a "1.6GB Encrypted" device since I also selected

Indeed pipewire is part of the issue. Although installing kubuntu-
desktop does not force pipewire (according to
https://packages.ubuntu.com/jammy/kubuntu-desktop ), I may have enabled
it wrongly while getting Wayland screensharing to work with the

This was running a live session of the jammy beta candidate image
20220329.1 in qemu. I let it sit for a bit after booting, came back to
the session and came out of the screen blank and saw it reporting this
