On raring, vertical scrolling is disabled by default (no
/etc/X11/xorg.conf file). I have to execute "synclient vertedgescroll=1"
to activate it.

In lieu of trying to get the hdmi sound from my Radeon card to work, I
have elected to just connect my on board sound card to my monitor until

Firefox and Thunderbird. Without this, it leaves Nautilus as a running
