I am ubuntu on 18.04.1 LTS.
With intel integrated gpu things are normal. With my nvidia gpu occured
two problems:
* I disabled login screen because it was creating two intances of Xorg
and gnome-shell each. I can see these with top and nvidia-smi. It
decreased cpu temps a lot even in idle time.
I used d-feet to Execute org.freedesktop.login1
org.freedesktop.login1.Manager CanSuspendThenHibernate
If my swapfile was too small, I got the response 'na'. When I used a
bigger swapfile, I got the response 'no'.

I just had another freeze, I could move mouse and keyboard was active. I
tried combination Alt+Ctrl+F1 and monitor started showing power saving

Now I have problem with nvidia card. I Can't use external monitor and
gnome-shell is using 100% of CPU all the time.
With intel, everything is Ok. Low battery usage as expected.
My system is a Dell Inspiron Gaming with intel i7-7700HQ and GeForce GTX
1050 Ti

We tried with the package which was given above (AMD64 -
https://launchpad.net/~ci-train-ppa-
service/+archive/ubuntu/3389-deletedppa/+build/15310024) , and still we
facing the same issue and same gdb back trace as well.

"select items matching" (ctrl+s) only selects one
By the changelog, glib2.0 was update to a new upstream release from
2.56.1-2 to 2.56.2 and so a security update was done over it.
In order to figure out if it's an issue in the security update or the
original version glib 2.56.2-0ubuntu0.18.04.1. Could you please try this
