In my case, printing to PDF in the first place and then printing that
PDF to printer worked.

Public bug reported:
I've got an SD card with an .is_audio_player file on it. Rhythmbox shows
the SD card in the devices tab. However, dragging music files there
will make Rhythmbox crash.

This bug's description describes my workaround for bug 998156: print
from $Application to CUPS-PDF and print that PDF from Evince to printer.

No fix released yet. Printing still broken in an *LTS* release. :-(

Title:
GTK Print dialog sends broken custom page size
Till, I did the following experiment:
- Print a page from Firefox to my HP printer without changing any of the
printer defaults (job 445). This will stall with rendering completed after
starting the printer.
- Print a page from Firefox to CUPS-PDF without changing any of the printer
defaults
Oops, the last print experiment (Evince to HP printer) is job 447, of
course.

GTK Print dialog sends broken custom page size
Till, the second file I sent you is from a plain vanilla print job in
Firefox on system default paper size. On my dad's machine I could
break printing from LibreOffice without having to select any printing
options.
Please reconsider closing the CUPS task.

Error occurs only after re-enabling the printer queue, i.e. starting the
print job and getting the spool file is fine, but after re-enabling the
queue it switches to rendering completed. I tried to print from
Shotwell, but in the past, printing also failed e.g. from Firefox.
error_log attached.
Here you go. My fault!
I'll send you the corresponding spool file via mail.

I didn't print from GIMP; the output I provided was created by printing
a photo from Shotwell. This error has also occured in Firefox -- see
attachments.

Also gone on Intel hardware (bug 947442).

Doesn't update
MusicBrainz lookup works fine in Rhythmbox 2.96 in 12.04 32 bit. I'll be
setting up an AMD64 machine soon and verify Dngrsone's comment.
Dngrsone, did you verify this with several CDs? Some discs in
MusicBrainz' database lack CD TOCs and thus can't be looked up. Does CD
lookup work with Picard?
Bug fixed in Rhythmbox 2.96 in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS: it properly notices
missing files and re-discovers them after moving them back.

Bug still present in 12.04 LTS.
I noticed that maximizing the program window is not possible. Dragging
it to the screen's upper corner does not work. Right-clicking on the
window title shows Maximize window disabled.

Still NOT FIXED in Rhythmbox 2.90.1 on Ubuntu 11.10.
Banshee on the same machine looks up album information without problems,
as does Rhythmbox on my Debian Testing machine.

I can confirm this bug for Ubuntu 11.10 32 bit and Debian Wheezy 64 bit:
Rhythmbox writes crap (i.e. the same artist all the time) to the
ARTISTSORT tag in FLAC files on both systems. Any chance to get that
fixed?
jan@haktar:~$ gst-inspect flactag | grep Version
Version: 0.10.30
Even worse: tagging does not work properly. I tried to tag FLAC files
and ended up with a complete mess with ARIST and ARTISTSORT information
wirtten wildly across an tracks. Is this somehow related to this bug, or
might an new one be required?

Workaround does not work any more: under 11.10, Rhythmbox no longer
offers track deletion. It still offers move to trash which does not
fix the issue.
