Since upgrade from Ubuntu 17.10 to Ubuntu 18.04 I have issues with tap

external screen is above the internal one instead of to the left or

Well, after uninstalling xserver-xorg-input-synaptics it seems to be
working fine. At least short testing looks promising. Bud bad is two-
finger scrolling stopped working. I can only switch to edge scrolling,
which works, but when two-finger scrolling is enabled, it does not work.

The fix by bugrasan works OK and gets the emojis down to normal size
however the emoji's are no longer colour but black and white. This is at
least a good workaround for the time being.
