When I log in for the first time, regular patterns are displayed before the
desktop is displayed. If I log in again after a restart, I briefly get a
corrupted screen with fragments of applications of the previous session. Using
Ubuntu 12.10 with nvidia-current.

the hp-tray-icon is started via gnome startup-applications
on console (after killing the tray-application) this works:
hp-systray -x & sleep 15 && systemctl --user restart indicator-
application.service
but if i modify the existing entry to this command-line it does not
(maybe this is not
to other input, boot works, i see it in
preferences dialog as second monitor, but if i configure input on
monitor i have no signal..
anything i can try?

i guess delay is for checking printer-status first before building
menu...atm i can live with the workaround, but it should be fixed :)

3) Gnome Disks should be able to see an audio CD when mounted.
4) Instead I get "unknown" in the contents and the Audio CD cannot be read.
This occurs only in Ubuntu and not in Windows (dual boot). Tried multiple CDs.
I also get
At one time, gnome-disks or gnome-disk-utility did detect audio CDs. I
just fired up Linux Mint 20.1 on a USB flash drive and whatever version
of gnome-disk-utility it has, it shows "Audio CD" instead of "unknown."

Had the same issue in Ubuntu 20.04. I plugged in a keyboard with a
Numlock key and switch that off. That fixed it for me.
