I checked:
- download links are fine
- signatures are fine
- build success on Ubuntu 18.04.5

Hi,
The most of context copied from the Netty project's NOTICE[1] in our NOTICE
file.
Our NOTICE file only copied the NOTICE files of two projects (Netty and
Log4j).
The others have not provided it in their codebase(like Spring boot[2],
guava[3], and etc).

Hi,
From a quick look I think you still have far too much in the binary NOTICE
file. Please see [1] in general there should be minimal licensing information
in the NOTICE file and no need to mention MIT or BSD licenses. [2]
Kind Regards,

Hi Sheng, Justin,
Thanks for your response. I am trying to resolve the NOTICE and LICENSE
issue in PR[1].
In the source distribution package, removed all of the 3rd libraries'
licenses and added the license of `mvnw`.
After that, I removed logback which seems like under EPL and
other unnecessary d
OK, then continuously, I am confused about why we call 0.1.0 out in this
status.
In the Java ecosystem, this kind of loading mechanism is just an SPI, why
don't we finish that before releasing it?
A doc about importing a project is super strange guidance for Java
developers.
We should have the SPI
Hi,
the result of why we don't provide binary in the vote is that the 0.1
version of Java Runner hasn't supported loading user-defined plugins.
Currently, the only way to add a plugin is to put your code inside
Java Runner and recompile it:

Hi,
I am -1 ( binding) as the LICENSE and NOTICE is not correct and it may contain
software that is not compatible with the Apache license.
However the LICENSE and NOTICE file are not correct and contain way too much
information and doesn’t mention what is contained in the release. e.g. [1] The
This ask is not related to -1 binding.
I am asking from a developer and end-user perspective. It is really rare to
see. I hope the community considers providing convenience binary, and
further docker image as a sidecar to APISIX image.

The ASF release source code not binaries, it is totally fine for a release to
not have a convenience binary.
Kind Regards,
Justin
Hi,
I want to ask from a Java developer perspective, why there is no binary in
the vote?
This seems not a common case in Java ecosystem.
After the `mvn package`, from the voting perspective, I have to vote
-1 binding
LICENSE and NOTICE in apisix-runner-bin are both not correct.
