Apache Beam case studies
Hi folks, With some people from Polidea we came up with an idea to carry out interviews with Apache Beam users to spread the news about the Beam model and engage more people to use it. Ideally, we'd set up an online meeting with interested people and then do an interview. We'd like to ask questions such as 'how did you find out about Apache Beam' / 'how do you use Apache Beam in your company/product?' etc. We'd love to post the whole interview on Polidea and Apache Beam website. Hi, Bumping up :-) We've used Zoom recently at Polidea for Apache Airflow meetup and it worked pretty well but I'm also interested in free tools. Livestorm looks pretty good (I'll dig deeper into it) but I'd recommend trying out another tool that is in fact Apache and open source ;-) It is very similar to Zoom where you can mute the speakers, raise hands, record, live stream, share your screen etc. Jitsi Meet is an OpenSource (Apache) WebRTC JavaScript application that > uses Jitsi Videobridge to provide high quality, scalable video conferences. > > You can try it out yourself at https://meet.jit.si. Upcoming Apache Beam meetups in Warsaw
Hi everyone, I'm Project Manager at Polidea and work closely with three Apache Beam committers (Katarzyna Kucharczyk, Kamil Wasilewski and Michał Walenia). Together with folks from Polidea we'd like to announce our plans towards the upcoming Apache Beam meetups in Warsaw. The next date for the Beam meetup we're considering is March 26th (Thursday).
