Hi,
I am personally OK with the event taking place in March, August, or September

Yes, when a volume is first created, it exists only as a row in the
cloud.volumes table.
When you first attach it to a VM, then the hypervisor type is associated with
it (and the volume is actually created).

Hi,
The CloudStack API that the GUI is invoking is migrateVirtualMachineWithVolume

A MigrateWithStorageCommand is sent to VmwareResource, which eventually calls

This does seem messed up.
If I add a new primary storage and give it a storage tag, the tag ends up in
storage_pool_details.
If I edit an existing storage pool’s storage tags, it places them in
storage_pool_tags.

Thanks for your clarification. I see now. You were referring to a networking
problem where one host could not see the storage (but the storage was still up
and running).

Hi,
Thanks for sending out this email and welcome to the CloudStack Community. :)
I have a couple quick questions:
First of all, let me start with something I found in our docs:
Primary Storage Outage and Data
visor ? In some settings disabling cluster doesn’t have
an intended affect. You might try unmanage your vmware cluster and re-try. I
think one of the settings above can control where your router will end up.
Thanks,

I went ahead and resolved/closed CLOUDSTACK-9822 just now.
I am still investigating if CLOUDSTACK-9823 is an issue.
Thanks!

I believe this is another blocker, but probably related to CLOUDSTACK-9822
(which I just opened):

I see the following exception when trying to deploy a user VM in a Basic Zone
with two XenServer 6.5 hosts in one cluster. My system VMs have all deployed
properly. The user template gets downloaded fine. I can see the user VM begin
to start on a XenServer host, then it goes away. We then

I know that suffix typically only shows up when VM snapshots are involved,
