Guy's chill. The mag is pdf what format (portrait or landscape) will be
decided later on. At the moment I'm just getting the hang of Scribus.
And yes A4 as I live in the UK and I'm the guy doing the work on it so
I'm doing to my setup it's easier for me. It can always have a letter
format for those
thing. I've started to design it in portrait format so I'm
sticking to this for now but, who knows it could change depending on
feedback of what people want.

information from many different sources in one place. It is also a
distributable item that can be printed out I just need to sort some
design elements out to do this. There are lots of reasons why a magazine

Hi Jean
I hope you can turn this tutorial into an article for the magazine. I've
got the basic templates worked out, for the layout. Just need a name and
some artwork for the front cover( front cover is the blue & white
gradient in OOo artwork). Any one got any ideas for a name for the mag?

but, with time it will get better.

guide.

I need to get these made more public. Frank has a copy of them in flash
which can be downloaded from:

Hi Frank you didn't reply to me saying if you got the link to down load
the flash videos I made for base:
Just in case here is the link where to down load them from (megaupload):

I seem to recall a few days ago a thread about doing an HTML (web-based)
version of the help. Is this an active project, or is there some question
of being able to do a conversion of them, given licensing of the text,
which I seem to recall from several months if not years ago?
