I was wrong in my assumption that gbeans are not recreated at startup.
They are and their constructors are called.However the portlet should
still depend on the openejb configuration and so it will be stopped in
case openejb configuration is stopped.

IMO, language is irrelevant. What you want to consider is what you
want the scripting language to do for you... that is what is
important. Basically (almost) any scripting language can be
integrated (bsf or direct) but what is missing is the users use-cases
for what the really want

integration. FWIW, in addition to the sample Grails application of
the IBM article, the WADI administration console, a Grails Web-app,
can be deployed out-of-the-box to Geronimo to introspect WADI clusters.

Just find in the newest snapshot, after I manually install the dojo plugin,
it has an extra folder dojo, currently when we want the refer to dojo.js,
the url will be /dojo/dojo/dojo/dojo.js.
