Any hope to evaluate the "bunch" of users which would move to this new

There was also quite a bunch of optim in common operations - like some

Hi Paul,
Did you use the last 4.3 release? Startup bundles shouldn't be randomized
anymore. For features it is a bit more complicated since it is a tree so
guess order can't really be assumed without side effects (whereas it can
for a flat list of bundles).

Hi all,
Playing with the r7 branch i tried to build an osgi-cdi distro but stumbled
upon the fact jdk9plus folder breaks resolution chain quite easily when
switching of jdk.
Long story short, having annotation, activation (and potentially jaxb but i
didnt need this one ;)) does not enable to
Awesome, this will already be big and enable to use aries osgi-cdi which is
a big step for osgi ecosystem imho.
Thanks a lot JB.

+1 (non binding) - for some asf itests and "simple" apps (no multipart in
them ;))

+1 a temp classloader using local resolution or plain reimpl of pem read
does not sound terrible to me

Hmm, it is required by spec (104.12.1 of
https://osgi.org/specification/osgi.cmpn/7.0.0/service.cm.html) and used by
consumers like osgi-cdi since it is in the API through
@RequireConfigurationAdmin.
So not sure there is a choice to support it on karaf side.
wdyt?

Hi all,
Is it normal master staticcm module does not exposes osgi.implementation?
([1])
It breaks its usage in several frameworks on top of it.

Hi
Since each instance will get its own port the name is pointless IMO until
all instances are shown in the same jmx tree but here the name would be a
jmx properties so +1 to not have the name in the url (probably with a
comment in the cfg to get back current behavior for users relying on it).
+1 makes sense to give it a try, in particular on an OSGi runtime

looks almost 100% bound to blueprint so
didn't see it as an option but I don't have a really strong blocker there,
I'll fully trust the OSGi@apache community on that.

Guess it is true for all project and I assume "submodule" means
"subproject" right?
Not sure what it means in practise (new git?) but it is not shocking. Any
proposal karaf-ioc (we could add more feature later this way)? Is it what
you meant?
