Dear all,
Translate.org.za will be offering Open Source localisation training in
French, English and Arabic at a number of events across Africa as part
of ANLoc (The African Network for Localisation).
I know from time to time we see African languages wanting to get started
on your project, this
are needed for translating Write
and focus on those. I haven't done this in a while so I'm not 100% sure
that those files are, but it is relatively easy to do.

updating. The other two
have been included in 2.0 but the translations are not complete, we
expect the translations to be complete in time for 2.0.1.
We have not done help files for any of these languages.

.
For the South African builds of 1.1.3 we created a GUI utility that
wraps setofficelang. You can get it at translate.sf.net in CVS under
translate/src/translate/tools
You get a list of languages and select on then restart OOo to get your
new language.
