Hi all,
I would like to have infra create a new repo “royale-ds” which I would like to

Side note:
I will also start a vote on the Flex mailinglist as this is the “nice way of

Hi Piotr,
just committed a working example in TDJ.
You need to wrap the ArrayList in ArrayListView to get the sorting
features, otherwise the bead don't do anything since collection is not
IArrayListView.
about the datagrid = null and re assign collection, the problem is located,
but I wanted to
Hi Chris
I'm ok with that.
Could you start the vote on Flex list ?
I can do equally here in Royale in parallel and reference yours

Hi Carlos,
I think it's not required for a new repo to be an act of the PMC, but I think
it would be nice to do it.
Also I think it would be good to vote on the willingness to fork BlazeDS and a
vote on the Flex list that the PMC is ok with this
(I know in this particular case it's sort of
Hi Chris,
it seems people are ok with doing this.
If we need to do some voting, we could do it.
If not we could request the "royaleds" repo.
Since you have more knowledge on this flow, better you handle it so we do
in the apache way.
thanks!

Hi,
when emulation started Alex though was to add Jewel themes to emulation,
but that was not done.
My thought is that will be a considerable amount of work in emulation, but
something that should be done at some point.
The requirements would mean emulation components implement an html
hierarchy
The catch is that emulation components expect subcomponents to extend
UIComponent and Jewel components don’t. Theoretically it should be possible to
mix both component sets if the Jewel components are contained in MX containers.
However, I’m not sure what the styles would look like.
It may be
OK, I work with VS Code and without any warning if I forgot to clean when I
update the framework, I will get all kind of strange issues that only
happens with me.
I think I learned my lesson.
I need more time to try what you ask.

Meanwhile, did you try to do a clean before build ?
If not, please try that.

Yes, it's not a blocker issue.
I can avoid using super.
Meanwhile, I filled a bug on github.

It's a Jewel bead of course. It doesn't work cause of that line:
var collection:IArrayListView = dg.dataProvider as IArrayListView;
What should I do more to get it work ?
