Hi,

p2 repo I created includes few BAM features only. I don't think it will
work for your purpose since we locally changed the versions of the features
we used for building the repo.
Anyway I have attached the pom for your reference.

Thanks,
Sachini

Re: [Dev] [Clustering] DepSync not working in tenant mode

2015-02-05 Thread Manoj Kumara

 Guys,

Its true that by design the tenant gets loaded in a carbon server at the
first log in or at the first request. But in Dep Sync the artifact ( for
example proxy service ) deployed on a tenant should be deployed seamlessly
in all workers. If we expect to have all the tenants already loaded in all
 the workers, its wrong because.

 1. Tenant is loaded at first login - we shouldn't log in to workers as Mgt
 console is disabled in workers.
 1. Tenant is loaded at first request - First request doesn't get hit on a
worker if the artifact is not deployed, and the artifact doesn't get
deployed if the tenant is not loaded.

 Hi Jeewantha,

During the first request on the worker the tenant get loaded, relevant
artifacts for that tenant will be checkout and get deployed and finally the
request will be served.

This doesn't look like an expected behaviour.

@Carbon team, let us know if we have a solution for this.

 Thanks,
 Jeewantha

Since Eclipse Che currently does not support for creating JAX-RS and

for existing webapps creation in Eclipse Che)

+1, so that non wso2 people also can use this feature to create apps for
tomcat.

 Hi All

We are in the process of $subject. One of the decision point we faced is
how to implement the 3 level project hierarchy as i have discussed in the
below mail. (added below[1] is the mail discussion i had with codenvy
team). According to them there is no such option in 3.5.0 release but will
be there in 3.7.0. However the plugin we already being developing is
handled this issue by having a wizard page. But according to the training
we had it seems that better way to do this is by having project generator
for each project. Therefore i think till we got that thing implemented by
codenvy we could go in a project structure as one of the options(1, 2)
 below.

 [opt1]
 WSO2 ESB
 -- ESB config project
 WSO2 AppServer
 -- webapp project
 -- JAX-WS project
 -- JAX-RS project

 [opt2]
 WSO2
 -- ESB project
 -- AppServer JAX-WS projet
 -- AppServer JAX-RS projet
 -- AppServer webapp projet

I prefer option one since, when we get 3 level support implemented we can
 easily move 'WSO2'
as the top level. Please give your suggestions.

 Thanks

Adding Gennady. He should have some suggestions. In 3.7, we are

We will use this to create the deployment abstractions as a type of
project. It should also simplify what you need for this structure.

  Hi Andrii/Evgin

This is to get some advices and best-practises for following 2 items.

1.We are thinking of developing a project based on following structure

  WSO2
   -- ESB Project
   -- AppServer Project
   -- JAX-WS Project
   -- Webapp Project

Is this structure is supported from codenvy.? Do you recomend to go in
 this approach
Alternative approach that we are thinking of is giving a single wizard
for AppServer Project and there we give another wizard page to select the
project type and depending on project type execute a project generator.
But i feel like having a separate project generator for each project
type would be good, however to implement that way might need to have above
 3 level support.

Yes, no reason do something until we ship 3.7.0

  2. We want to add repositories and pluginRepositories for the pom,
however i could not find a method in com .codenvy.ide.maven.tools.Model
to do this. As an alternative we can write to the pom file directly
(or can we use model .setPomFile() to do the same).

We will add this method to our model. I have created issue on it.

  Appreciate your inputs and thoughts.

  Thanks

Re: [Dev] [Clustering] DepSync not working in tenant mode

2015-02-05 Thread Sameera Jayasoma
Why do you think that this is not the expected behavior?

On Fri, Feb 6, 2015 at 12:39 PM, Jeewantha Dharmaparakrama
jeewan...@wso2.com wrote:

This doesn't look like an expected behaviour.

@Carbon team, let us know if we have a solution for this.

 Thanks,
 Jeewantha

 Hi,

We have integrated API manager 4.3 snapshot features into CDM with

content and footer. Even the login page does not popup correctly. When
digging into it more found that this is because the
 getAllPaginatedPublishedAPIs returns following result.

 {apis : [], totalLength : 0}

Once we hard coded the result to empty braces ( {} ) it parses
correctly and loads the store app correctly. Is there anything we are doing
wrong here to get this result or does it missing something? Seems like it
is a parsing here since it works well with a hard coded input as above.

Re: [Dev] Implementing eclipse che AppServer plugin

2015-02-05 Thread Viraj Rajaguru
Hi,

Since Eclipse Che currently does not support for creating JAX-RS and
JAX-WS projects and we are going to implement project types for JAX-RS and
JAX-WS for Eclipse Che, I think its better to categorize them under Java
-- Maven category not under the WSO2 category.(Following the convention
for existing webapps creation in Eclipse Che)

Thanks,
Viraj.

 Hi All

We are in the process of $subject. One of the decision point we faced is
how to implement the 3 level project hierarchy as i have discussed in the
below mail. (added below[1] is the mail discussion i had with codenvy
team). According to them there is no such option in 3.5.0 release but will
be there in 3.7.0. However the plugin we already being developing is
handled this issue by having a wizard page. But according to the training
we had it seems that better way to do this is by having project generator
for each project. Therefore i think till we got that thing implemented by
codenvy we could go in a project structure as one of the options(1, 2)
 below.

 [opt1]
 WSO2 ESB
 -- ESB config project
 WSO2 AppServer
 -- webapp project
 -- JAX-WS project
 -- JAX-RS project

 [opt2]
 WSO2
 -- ESB project
 -- AppServer JAX-WS projet
 -- AppServer JAX-RS projet
 -- AppServer webapp projet

I prefer option one since, when we get 3 level support implemented we can
 easily move 'WSO2'
as the top level. Please give your suggestions.

 Thanks

  2. We want to add repositories and pluginRepositories for the pom,
however i could not find a method in com .codenvy.ide.maven.tools.Model to
do this. As an alternative we can write to the pom file directly (or can
we use model .setPomFile() to do the same).

We will add this method to our model. I have created issue on it.

  Appreciate your inputs and thoughts.

  Thanks

Addition to the above index fields, we have some dynamic fields and also
fields which are currently indexed is depends on the indexer defined for

media type
LC state
LC Name
Artifact attributes etc.

But for Advanced search, we need to enforce fields required to advanced
search in every index document. So only having default indexer will not
address the problem. We need to enforce index those fields in current
existing indexers and indexer defined in future.

How are we going to cater this problem.

Re: [Dev] [APIM] Using OAuth2TokenValidationService to validate keys in API Invocations

2015-02-05 Thread Amila De Silva
Hi All,
Instead of switching to OAuth2TokenValidationService, we'll be sticking
with APIKeyValidationService.

On Mon, Sep 15, 2014 at 5:07 PM, Amila De Silva ami...@wso2.com wrote:

 Hi,

As a part of decoupling Authorization Server from API Manager, the
capability should be provided to customise token validation step. Since the
 OAuth2TokenValidationService, defined in org.wso2.carbon.identity.oauth2
component already supports executing additional validation steps, this
service will be used for validating tokens for API invocations in future.

 Before using this service certain changes needs to be done;

 1. The existing service for Key Validation returns certain details as
subscriber, Application Tier, subscribed Tier, API Owner which are used to
Throttle API calls and to publish statistics. If we are to pass these
details when using OAuth2TokenValidationService, the response DTO
(OAuth2TokenValidationResponseDTO) should be modified to pass custom
 attributes.

 2. OAuth2TokenValidationService have two operations - validate and
findOAuthConsumerIfTokenIsValid. The latter, retrieves a token stored in
IDN_OAUTH2_ACCESS_TOKEN table and verifies if it’s obtained for a
registered client App. Validate operation calls this method before sending
the response. This behaviour too needs to be changed because, when using an
external Authorization Server, the token will not be stored in our side.

Re: [Dev] [Clustering] DepSync not working in tenant mode

2015-02-05 Thread Jeewantha Dharmaparakrama

 1. Tenant is loaded at first login - we shouldn't log in to workers as
Mgt console is disabled in workers.

I see. Thanks for the explanation Manoj.

@Sameera, I thought the artifacts should be deployed in all the workers
when the tenant is loaded once in the Management node. The reason I thought
so was when the LB sends requests to workers in a round robin manner, if
there are 10 workers first 10 requests get delayed to be served since every
worker has to deploy the artifact at their first request.

This doesn't look like an expected behaviour.

@Carbon team, let us know if we have a solution for this.

 Thanks,
 Jeewantha

Re: [Dev] Issue on running wsdl2java.bat on Windows

2015-02-05 Thread Pumudu Ruhunage
Hi Irham,

Did you try running command line interface as administrator ? (right click
cmd icon and click on run as administrator) I think it doesn't have
privileges to overwrite files. Also you can try axis2 wsdl2java.bat and see
if there's something wrong with wsdl2java.bat in AS pack.

Hi Maheeka,

Yes this is expected behavior and the tenant will get loaded once it get a
request or by logging.

On the side note if you configured the worker node properly you cannot
login to management console.

Yes, Simply we should implement and support following two on here

1. Allow to use same subscription ID among different topics.
2. Allow to create many subscriptions to a single topic with a single ID

Basically with current implementation at a given time, MB cluster could
have only an one subscriber with a given ID (irrespective of subscribed

But I believe users should have the ability to create durable
subscriptions with a single ID to different topics.

AFAIU current implementation restricts many use cases. For Ex.
A company wants there employees to use their EmpID to subscribe on
 different company news channels.

So shouldn't we allow to reuse same ID to create durable subscriptions on

Hi,

We have a solution for the second point. That is something we done on a
customer request. There is a configuration in broker.xml which you can
enable if you need to have multiple subscribers from same client Id. Not
sure how it would affect the first point though.

Thanks

[Dev] When Topic publisher connected through different nodes, Subscribers don't receive all the published messages

2015-02-05 Thread Asanka Vithanage
HI MB Team,

Observed $Subject while following the below steps

Steps:
1. Setup a 4 node MB cluster pointing to MS Sql Server
2. Create a topic Subscriber from a Mb Node ex. MB1
3. Publish 100,000 messages from each node ex. MB2 and MB3 node
4. Check whether subscriber receive all the published messages

Here though we expects subscriber receive totally 200,000 messages, we only
received around 100,000 messages. So there is a message loss and Reported
[1] to track the issue.

When many publishers connected only through one node, subscriber received
expected number of messages. So it seems when only publishers connected
through more than one nodes, MB cluster does not perform as expected.

[Dev] Shouldn't we allow to reuse same ID to create durable subscriptions on different topics

2015-02-05 Thread Asanka Vithanage
Hi All,

AFFAIR even in MB 220, we didn't allow to create durable subscriptions with
same ID for two topics.I observed same in MB 330 M2 pack as well. Basically
with current implementation at a given time, MB cluster could have only an
one subscriber with a given ID (irrespective of subscribed topic).

But I believe users should have the ability to create durable subscriptions
with a single ID to different topics.

AFAIU current implementation restricts many use cases. For Ex.
A company wants there employees to use their EmpID to subscribe on
different company news channels.

So shouldn't we allow to reuse same ID to create durable subscriptions on
different topics? WDYT?

Re: [Dev] [MB][Configuration error when running the AutoAcknowledgementsTestCase from the intellij

2015-02-05 Thread Akalanka Pagoda Arachchi
Hi Megala,

I am not sure about why this error occurs. However integration test suit in
MB is not designed to run as individual test cases since a MB server is
required to be running. If you want to run a selected test case you can
follow the following procedure.

   - Start the MB Server manually.
   - Navigate to the test module you want to run in terminal.
   - Use the command 'mvn -Dtest=AutoAcknowledgementsTestCase test' to run
   the test case.

Refer the surefire documentation [1] for more details.

Thanks,
Akalanka.

[Dev] Implementing eclipse che AppServer plugin

2015-02-05 Thread Susinda Perera
Hi All

We are in the process of $subject. One of the decision point we faced is
how to implement the 3 level project hierarchy as i have discussed in the
below mail. (added below[1] is the mail discussion i had with codenvy
team). According to them there is no such option in 3.5.0 release but will
be there in 3.7.0. However the plugin we already being developing is
handled this issue by having a wizard page. But according to the training
we had it seems that better way to do this is by having project generator
for each project. Therefore i think till we got that thing implemented by
codenvy we could go in a project structure as one of the options(1, 2)
below.

[opt1]
WSO2 ESB
-- ESB config project
WSO2 AppServer
-- webapp project
-- JAX-WS project
-- JAX-RS project

[opt2]
WSO2
-- ESB project
-- AppServer JAX-WS projet
-- AppServer JAX-RS projet
-- AppServer webapp projet

I prefer option one since, when we get 3 level support implemented we can
easily move 'WSO2'
as the top level. Please give your suggestions.

Thanks

  Hi Andrii/Evgin

This is to get some advices and best-practises for following 2 items.

1.We are thinking of developing a project based on following structure

  WSO2
   -- ESB Project
   -- AppServer Project
   -- JAX-WS Project
   -- Webapp Project

Is this structure is supported from codenvy.? Do you recomend to go in
 this approach
Alternative approach that we are thinking of is giving a single wizard
for AppServer Project and there we give another wizard page to select the
project type and depending on project type execute a project generator.
But i feel like having a separate project generator for each project type
would be good, however to implement that way might need to have above 3
 level support.

Yes, no reason do something until we ship 3.7.0

  2. We want to add repositories and pluginRepositories for the pom,
however i could not find a method in com .codenvy.ide.maven.tools.Model to
do this. As an alternative we can write to the pom file directly (or can
we use model .setPomFile() to do the same).

We will add this method to our model. I have created issue on it.

  Appreciate your inputs and thoughts.

  Thanks

[Dev] Using jaxws:wsimport to generate single jar for multiple WSDLs

2015-02-05 Thread Sachini Jayasekara
Hi all.

I'm using JAX-WS Maven Plugin (wsimport) to generate web services clients
using multiple WSDLs. My requirement is to generate a single jar file for
all the wsdls.

I am using separate binding files for each wsdl and the configuration looks
like follows,

   plugin
groupIdorg.jvnet.jax-ws-commons/groupId
artifactIdjaxws-maven-plugin/artifactId
version2.3/version
executions
execution
idgenerate-clients/id
phaseprocess-sources/phase
goals
goalwsimport/goal
/goals
configuration
target2.1/target
verbosetrue/verbose

wsdlDirectory${basedir}/src/wsdl/wsdlDirectory
wsdlFiles

wsdlFileAuthenticationAdmin.wsdl/wsdlFile
/wsdlFiles

bindingDirectory${basedir}/src/wsdl/bindingDirectory
bindingFiles
bindingFilebindings.xml/bindingFile
/bindingFiles
extensiontrue/extension
/configuration
/execution
execution
idgenerate-clients_1/id
phaseprocess-sources/phase
goals
goalwsimport/goal
/goals
configuration
target2.1/target
verbosetrue/verbose

wsdlDirectory${basedir}/src/wsdl/wsdlDirectory
wsdlFiles

wsdlFileRemoteUserStoreManagerService.wsdl/wsdlFile
/wsdlFiles

bindingDirectory${basedir}/src/wsdl/bindingDirectory
bindingFiles
bindingFilebindings1.xml/bindingFile
/bindingFiles
extensiontrue/extension
/configuration
/execution
/executions

Instead of having multiple bindings is there a way to combine the bindings
to one file and specify to which wsdl a particular set of bindings should
be applied or it is okay to have separate bindings for each wsdl.
I tried combining the binding files but was unable to do so. Please find
the attached binding files I need to combine.

Appreciate your help on this.

Thanks

Hi Prabushi,

Seems like the XML you posted is a valid one. But it seems, when you pass
it to the deployTemplateConfig() method, You pass an invalid xml. Could you
check the parsing XML to that method is a valid one by debugging the code.
You can check, are there any xml declarations more than one in xml or are
there any unusual characters before xml declaration like empty spaces.

Thanks

Re: [Dev] WSO2 AS failed to join cluster which is configured to a remote registry

2015-02-05 Thread Shiva Balachandran
Hi Inshaf,

Please check your registry.xml configuration. Have you added the DBConfig
for the datasource, as well as the remoteInstance in the registry.xml file?

Also, how many AS nodes are you running? If its a single node what is the
necessity of a shared Config and Governance Partitions to a Remote Registry?

Please remove the axis2.xml configuration if its a single node, this might
fix your issue.

Thank you,

Regards
Shiva Balachandran

Hi Inshaf,

AFAIK you cannot test multicast scheme inside WSO2 network since multicast
is blocked on the network. If there is no specific requirement to use
multicast you can test using WKA scheme.

Thanks,

Hi Kasun,

There is a schema validation that happens when adding a new lifecycle. In
order for that to happen, the ifecycle-config.xsd should be there in the
given location. IIRC, G-Reg includes this file when building the
distribution. Please check whether AF has such step and if not, please
refer to the G-Reg build to see how it is done.

This seems to like a issue with the version of your client. Try the answer

the checkout fails after running for a few mins with a

svn: E120104: ra_serf: An error occurred during decompression, error.

I think this is something related to the svn client. I searched online but
 didn't get an answer.

Has anyone come across this error? is there a solution for this?

Is there any alternative way to checkout the source(like git) and build
 the product?

Re: [Dev] Shouldn't we allow to reuse same ID to create durable subscriptions on different topics

2015-02-05 Thread Pamod Sylvester
Hi Asanka,

For different topics ideally yes it should be allowed IMO. Add to that even
for the same topic based on the JMS 2.0 spec, subscriptions with the same
topic should be allowed.

maybe a suggestion could be to make this behaviour optional. WDYT?

Thanks,
Pamod

 Hi All,

AFFAIR even in MB 220, we didn't allow to create durable subscriptions
with same ID for two topics.I observed same in MB 330 M2 pack as well.
Basically with current implementation at a given time, MB cluster could
have only an one subscriber with a given ID (irrespective of subscribed
 topic).

But I believe users should have the ability to create durable
subscriptions with a single ID to different topics.

AFAIU current implementation restricts many use cases. For Ex.
A company wants there employees to use their EmpID to subscribe on
 different company news channels.

So shouldn't we allow to reuse same ID to create durable subscriptions on
 different topics? WDYT?

 Hi,

We have integrated API manager 4.3 snapshot features into CDM with store
and publisher apps. When navigating to API store we see a blank content and
footer. Even the login page does not popup correctly. When digging into it
more found that this is because the getAllPaginatedPublishedAPIs returns
 following result.

 {apis : [], totalLength : 0}

Once we hard coded the result to empty braces ( {} ) it parses correctly
and loads the store app correctly. Is there anything we are doing wrong
here to get this result or does it missing something? Seems like it is a
parsing here since it works well with a hard coded input as above.

 Dear sir,

We are carrying out a project on crowd sourcing GPS data and analyse the

But we are unable to get GPS data to each part only from the road. That
mean the range we defined will cover a circular part. For further details I
 have attached some images below.

Is there any way to identify the roads ,so that we can filter GPS data
coming only from a specified road.

I would be grateful if you could give me a solution soon.

Re: [Dev] [MB][Configuration error when running the AutoAcknowledgementsTestCase from the intellij

2015-02-05 Thread Krishantha Samaraweera
To run individual test case though intellij you need set all system
properties referred though tests module pom file as test runner options in
IDE.

You can refer test automation wiki FAQ on running single test case [1]. Our
recommendation is to use maven for running single test cases. Note that you
don't required to start the server manually.

Re: [Dev] [CarbonAnalytics] Lucene requires Java7 to run?

2015-02-05 Thread KasunG Gajasinghe
Hi Anjana,

Last JDK 6 compatible Lucene version seems to be 4.7.2 which was released
on April last year. I know it's better to move with latest possible
version, but as a platform we are constrained to support JDK 1.6 right now.

Did you guys see whether the JDK 6 compatible version will provide the
needed functionality for you? It seems Lucene is a core requirement for BAM
though I'm not sure about in-depth requirements.

This not only affect BAM, but product ML is also affected. Any other
product that will use the carbon-analytics repo are affected too since it's
set to build only with JDK 7!! So, unless there's a very good reason, I
think we should stick to JDK 1.6 support.

WDYT??

And which are the products using this module? As I grep for the artifactId,

I want to know the functionality of this stub in APIM and AppM. This is not

Re: [Dev] [CarbonAnalytics] Lucene requires Java7 to run?

Hi Kasun,

No, there will be numerous bug fixes (and features, and also some API
changes) and all with latest Lucene library. So we have to keep current
with that. I don't see a problem of ML product also making JDK7 a
requirement, and any product that will maybe embed those components. We
just will be building our repo with JDK7, others can build with JDK6, and
package it up in a product, and run it in JDK7.

Cheers,

Have you tried using WKA membership scheme?.. Is there any particular
reason for using Multicast?
Please follow this document for clustering configurations [1]

Please check your registry.xml configuration. Have you added the DBConfig

Also, how many AS nodes are you running? If its a single node what is the
necessity of a shared Config and Governance Partitions to a Remote Registry?

Please remove the axis2.xml configuration if its a single node, this might
 fix your issue.

 Thank you,

I don't we have single document which describe all the functions of the
Carbon P2 plugin. Carbon P2 plugin helps you to build Carbon feature, build
products, create P2 repositories, Install features to products etc. These
functions are documented in various product docs, articles and blogs.

 Thanks,
 Sameera.
