Re: [Dev] Call mediator does not return the body for 202 response

2016-04-10 Thread Prabath Ariyarathna
Hi Niranjan.

I think this only happens when you have content aware mediators in your
sequence(You can check with removing full log mediators). Inside the
RelayUtils we are checking status code equal to the 202[1] and ignore build
the response body. So reason could be this. You can debug the RelayUtils to
confirm the behavior.

Thanks.

Re: [Dev] [ESB] [Redmine] Feature #4055 -JMS Transaction support for Store Mediator

2016-02-17 Thread Prabath Ariyarathna
Hi Dilshani.

Yes, title is little bit confusing. This feature was implemented for adding
guaranteed delivery capability to the store mediator. We achieved this by
using "Failover Message Store and Scheduled Failover Message Forwarding
Processor".

Can someone please help in understanding how this scenario relate to JMS
Transactions ?
We added JMS transaction between store mediator and message broker for the
gurenteed delivery scenarios. This is only effect to the JMS message store.

Is this "Guaranteed Delivery with Failover Message Store and Scheduled
Failover Message Forwarding Processor" scenario limited to JMS message
stores?
This is not limited to the JMS message store.

Thanks.

Re: [Dev] [VOTE] Release WSO2 ESB 4.9.0 RC4

2015-09-08 Thread Prabath Ariyarathna
Hi All.

I tested main use cases of the following scenarios and found no issues.

1. Main security scenarios
2. HTTP/HTTPS Inbound endpoints basic scenarios.
3. MSMP/ MSFMP standalone and cluster mode.
3.1 JDBC + JMS message stores with MSMP - Cluster mode (task count 1
and 2)
3.2 JDBC + JMS message stores with MSMP & MSFMP - Cluster mode (task
count 1 and 2)
3.3 JMS + InMemory message stores with MSMP + MSFMP - Standalone mode.

[X] Stable - go ahead and release

Thanks.

This is due to this[1] issue.

Response is invalid, but you can still get the response and we changed
this behavior to send AxisFault when we cannot build response properly. In
your case true value cannot build to the JSON content hence getting this
exception. We have no solution for this kind of specific situation. you
need to make sure to execute correct API with expected responses.

Hi Keethika.

Could you please recheck your configurations. May be something wrong in
your API call. I can just see true value is returning from the API
according to the wirelog but we expecting JSON format.

Thanks.

My concern is why we are getting this behavior change from Beta - RC1?

AFAIK This fix is already there in the BETA pack.

 Hi Keethika.

In previous implementation we continue with response processing even
though response contents cannot be built properly and as a response we used
default payload. You can see it in your success response wire log.

 [2015-08-27 12:13:33,881] ERROR - JsonUtil #newJsonPayload. Could not
save JSON payload. Invalid input stream found. MessageID:
 urn:uuid:f9e21a9f-9f94-4f84-b1b1-d2733afa9250

Response is invalid, but you can still get the response and we changed
this behavior to send AxisFault when we cannot build response properly. In
your case true value cannot build to the JSON content hence getting this
exception. We have no solution for this kind of specific situation. you
need to make sure to execute correct API with expected responses.

 Thanks.

 Hi Prabath,
When we add the latest verion in the api url for the above call we got
the json format response. If we not add the api version in the url it
automatically redirect to the latest version but getting only true as the
response. I'm not sure why it is returning different responses. But this
response was handled by ESB upto 4.9.0-Beta version. If this is an expected
behaviour in 4.9.0-RC1 pack, then how to handle these kind of responses
since we are working with the third party API's we may get these kind of
 responses.

 Thanks,

2015-08-19 Thread Prabath Ariyarathna
Hi KasunG.

I have tested basic tenant related service dispatching scenarios for ESB
and that was working as expected.

Thanks.

I checked basic scenarios like proxy service valid and invalid URLs

It is wrong to package ECJ bundles inside reporting ui feature. This
bundle is already coming from kernel.

The jasper-jdt is a wso2 orbit of ECJ, but there was no need to create an
orbit in the first place since the original jar itself is an osgi bundle.

I believe we can remove this from the reporting ui feature. But can you
verify that with the maintainers of the reporting component?

this bundle JSP exceptions has not occurred.

Re: [Dev] [ESBJAVA-3836] - JSP compilation error on JDK 8

2015-06-26 Thread Prabath Ariyarathna
Hi Kasun G.

Reason seems to be exposed same ECJ packages from
the jasper-jdt_6.0.18.wso2v1 bundle and it has exposed from the
carbon-commons (org.wso2.carbon.reporting.ui.feature). After removing this
bundle JSP exceptions has not occurred.

Thanks.

Inbound Endpoint support in multi-tenant environments
 - HTTP Inbound Endpoint
 - JMS Inbound Endpoint
 - VFS Inbound Endpoint
 - CXF WS-RM Inbound Endpoint
 - HL7 Inbound Endpoint
Coordination support for Message Stores and Processors
 For-each Mediator
 JDBC Message Store
 RabbitMQ Transport
Dynamic SSLProfiles for sender and listener
 Coordination support for Scheduled Tasks.
Enabling HTTP Cache Control headers (Etag)
 Kafka support in ESB (Experimental)

Applying QOS for services and other ESB related new features(Indbound

[Dev] Bouncycastle dependency version change in the synapse nhttp transporter

Hi All.

I'm going to change the version of bouncycastle jar which is used inside
the synapse nhttpd transporter to support java7/8. Currently we are using
bcprov-jdk16 version 1.46 [1] which is only support for the java6 and new
bcprov-jdk15on version 1.52 [2] supports for the java5 to java8 but we
need to do some refactoring in synapse nhttp certification validation
process since new library has some API changes.

 destination.
 ant stockquote -Dtrpurl=esb
 Proxy client mode

The client uses the prxurl as an HTTP proxy to send the request.
Therefore, by setting the prxurl to the ESB, the client can ensure that
the message would reach the ESB for mediation. The client can optionally
set a WS-Addressing EPR if required.

Hi Dilan.

Before deploy new war file, please check any other service run on the port
8080 using the following command.

lsof -I: 8080

Then kill all process which is attached with the port 8080. Now you can
start the new tomcat instance and deploy your new war file and check
Catalina.out to check war file deployed smoothly. If nothing shows in your
log file please log into tomcat management console and check service
deployed successfully.

You can refer this [1] article to get an idea how to install svn client on

 Hi Sajith,

As far as I know, Xcode is an IDE for Apple related development in
Objective C. For windows, TortoiseSVN is an excellent client, which
integrates in to the Explorer really well. I'm not sure if an equivalent
client is there for Mac. There's a list of tools here[1] too, but if you
want to use a GUI client, the best approach would be to use the plugins
available in the IDEs. For Intellij Idea and Eclipse there are good, well
 tested plugins.

If you're using Eclipse, Subclipse[2] is a good plugin. Just match the
subversion, version installed with the JavaHL[3] library and the plugin
version, otherwise there can be irregularities in how the files are checked
 out.
