Hello all. I just acquired a ZTE Open phone, and I'd like to get a
recent FxOS build onto it. So I'm following along with the MDN guide
and become befuddled at the build.sh stage.
The Firefox_OS_build_prerequisites and
Preparing_for_your_first_B2G_build guides went off without a hitch. I

Adding assert exceptions seems like a fine stop-gap. But if the assertions
are in B2G specific code, we should definitely get them looked at sooner
rather than later.

Here again is your bi-weekly sprint summary, providing you a view of activity
across all FxOS functional teams for the past two weeks.
The purpose of this report is to improve the ability of each team to know what
the others are doing. If you have suggestions for information you'd like to see

Ah, a misunderstanding, glad we agree. IMO Mozilla should have used at
this stage just existing devices (and encourage porting!) rather then
come up with these "developer" phones and the like. Just asking for
extra trouble on a platform which is still green.

At the last work week, Jonas indicated it was important to get
mochitests (and other tests) running on debug builds, since tests
running against debug builds catch assertions, which are silently
ignored on opt builds. These assertions indicate some unexpected state

that I am both interested in this OS and also aware of its current

As an owner of a ZTE Open, my best advise would be to avoid the ZTE and

the build process if you try to use them to compile.
In order to work around the problem, I decided to

Hi Sibekai,
Excuse me for the late reply. It seems you have not erased your recovery image.
Is your phone still booted into recovery mode (Power off the phone, then hold
the power key and volume up key simultaneously)? If your phone can still boot
into recovery mode, I wonder if this can be opt

in the case of using webidl,
the control path is the same but the data path will be changed.
The idl(DOM Event) will be replaced by webidl.
Is my thinking correct?
