My comment wasn't directed at your judgment. I was actually agreeing with you and I feel that Mozilla did an extremely poor job in vetting ZTE as a 'partner'.
As an owner of a ZTE Open, my best advise would be to avoid the ZTE and get a phone from a company that seems to care.
