It's easy to run "hg log lib.cvsclient" to find out the changes. There
were some additions to the module after 2006, I have no idea why it is
that old in the maven repo. I think that the person who did the upload
to maven might have leave the project/company at that time. The latest

I strongly suspect, though I can't confirm it, that no serious ongoing
development of it happened after 2003 or so.
I don't know if he's on here, but Martin Entlicher would have been the
person maintaining it at least through '07 and would be the person to ask.

I don't know that I can be much help, but the CVS client started as a
standalone project when the sources were in CVS hosted by CollabNet - it
was a github-like setup where everything was under separate source control.
I don't know what year it was that we switched to self hosting with
