r. Remember that rpm dependencies resolver has own logic/mechanics which is not obvious, and is able to resolve circular or complicated planar/non-planar graphs dependencies. Sometimes on using plain rpm is possible to observe its work as exact order of packages passed in "rpm -Uvh" parameters
