This is one of the reasons why I prefer external modems to internal modems
- it's a bit sad when you have to shut down the server just to power cycle

just because TZ is set correctly that log entries will also be correct.
From a quick glance at an RFC last night, the logging should be in
localtime - which, IMO, is a bit crazy.
