Hi all, Yes I agree, "Equal counts" would be the standard term, if you want to avoid "Quantiles" that is. I would also advocate for making Equal Counts / Quantiles the default classification method for thematic layers, since in most cases it results in better classification than Equal Intervals.

We never used "quintiles", we used "quantiles" like mapfish does. Something more understandable is probably better, so I'll let the English tongues decide. Seems like there is a consensus on "equal counts" then. On Thu, Apr 11, 2013 at 3:13 PM, Knut Staring wrote: > Agree with Jason - "Equal co

Agree with Jason - "Equal counts" sounds best. Quintiles are just one specific type of quantiles: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantile On Thu, Apr 11, 2013 at 3:10 PM, Jason Pickering < jason.p.picker...@gmail.com> wrote: > I think the usual terminology for this would be "Equal counts". > > Qu

I think the usual terminology for this would be "Equal counts". Quintiles is not the correct word though, except when the population would be divided into 5 parts. Regards, Jason On Thu, Apr 11, 2013 at 2:33 PM, Lars Helge Øverland wrote: > Hi Dan, > > yes we could easily use SVG for icons an

Hi Dan, yes we could easily use SVG for icons and then embed them in the download. Only problem is that IE8, which we still officially support, uses viewport to render maps and does not support SVG out of the box. Eventually we will scrap support for IE8 but not immediately.. Lars On Thu, Apr

Jan, Thanks for the feedback. Guessed that there would be a good reason for the facility layer not showing. I know that in theory it should be easy to perform a screen capture, but unfortunately I think this might be hard to ensure people can make a screen capture and remember to do so just f

The facility layer is different from the other layers as it displays images by reference, i.e. the images are not SVG shapes. We know a lot of users want to create facility maps, and it might be possible to include them in the download somehow, but so far we have not prioritized it as there is a pr

Hi DHIS team, Not sure if this is deliberate or not, but not all layers (facility layer and google background) are shown when one downloads a map (v2.11). Would it be possible for these layers to appear (or not) in the download based on whether that layer is toggled on or off? All other layers
